1. About these Terms
These Terms govern your use of Ape Maps mobile and immersive applications and the Ape Maps website where these Terms are linked (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Ape Technology LTD (“Ape Maps”, “we”, “us”), established in Bulgaria, at 21, 21-vi vek Street, Studentski District, Sofia 1700, Bulgaria. By accepting these Terms through the applicable registration or access flow, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information; accepting these Terms is not consent to optional marketing, tracking or unrelated processing.
Mandatory consumer rights always apply. Ape Maps currently has no payments or subscriptions.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to register for, access or use the Service. By accepting these Terms and using the Service, you represent and confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you are under 18, you must not use the Service. We do not knowingly onboard users under 18. Do not misrepresent your age.
Where an account is required, provide accurate information and keep it current. Protect your credentials, do not share access, and notify support@apemaps.com promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for misuse attributable to your failure to take reasonable care, subject to applicable law; this does not remove our responsibilities for our own security failures.
3. What Ape Maps provides
Ape Maps provides stock tracking, market information and visual tools, including curated, dynamic and custom maps where available. Mobile versions provide conventional stock tracking with an optional camera-based AR experience. Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro versions provide spatial exploration and interaction; AR or VR availability depends on the device and selected mode. Features differ by platform, version, region and release status.
Saved maps, favourites and portfolio views are informational organizational tools. A thematic map, ranking, insight or inclusion of an instrument does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement.
4. No investment advice
The Service is for informational and educational purposes. It does not provide personalized investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship. Nothing displayed is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell a financial instrument or a promise of returns.
Investments can lose value. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Independently verify information and consider qualified professional advice before making decisions. You remain responsible for your investment decisions, subject to rights and responsibilities that cannot be excluded by law.
5. Market data and visualizations
Market data and issuer logos are supplied by Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) and may also be subject to the rights of the original data owners. Data may be delayed, stale, incomplete, inaccurate, corrected or unavailable. We do not warrant its accuracy, completeness, timeliness or uninterrupted availability to the extent permitted by law.
Displayed prices are not executable quotes. Do not rely on the Service as the sole basis for a transaction, valuation, tax filing or other financial decision.
Maps simplify information. Block area, height and colour reflect separately selected metrics, units, legends and periods; these may differ. Equal area does not imply equal company value. A taller block does not inherently mean a better investment. Themes, dynamic rankings and calendars are not forecasts.
We are not liable for losses caused by reliance on inaccurate, delayed or unavailable third-party data or its visual presentation to the extent such liability may lawfully be excluded. Section 13 and mandatory legal protections govern all such exclusions.
6. License and permitted sharing
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes under these Terms. Commercial exploitation of the Service or underlying data requires written permission and any required third-party permissions.
You may use available capture and sharing functions only within their intended scope and the rights applicable to the included data and content. These Terms do not grant a standalone license to third-party market data or logos. They do not authorize bulk extraction, republishing datasets, paid data feeds or resale.
7. Intellectual property and issuer logos
Our software, original designs, branding and original content are owned by Ape Maps or its licensors. Third-party market data, news, images and other licensed material remain subject to their respective owners' rights.
Company names, ticker symbols, trademarks and issuer logos displayed in the Service identify the relevant companies or instruments. Logos are supplied by FMP; trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners. Their display does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, approval or endorsement of Ape Maps.
You may not copy, redistribute, modify or exploit protected Service materials except as expressly permitted by these Terms, a valid license or applicable law. Mandatory rights concerning interoperability or other lawful exceptions are preserved.
8. Your material and sharing choices
You retain rights you hold in your original photos, videos and other material. You must have the necessary rights to capture and share it, respect others' privacy, and avoid publishing personal information without a lawful basis.
If you submit original material to us through a supported feature or a support request, you permit us to handle that material only as reasonably necessary to provide that feature, respond to your request and meet legal obligations. This is not permission to reuse your material in advertising. Additional permission is required for promotional use.
Sharing a capture or portfolio view may disclose your surroundings, other people, your chosen instruments or financial interests. Review it before sharing. Third-party recipients may keep or reshare copies. We cannot control copies held independently by others.
This section does not imply that Ape Maps operates public profiles, a social feed, comments or messaging.
9. Prohibited use
Do not use the Service to violate law or third-party rights, impersonate others, misrepresent your age, commit fraud or market manipulation, upload malicious code, interfere with security or circumvent access controls.
Do not scrape, harvest or extract data automatically, reverse engineer protected software except where lawful, resell access or use the Service to create an unauthorized competing data feed. Do not remove attribution or proprietary notices. Do not use captures to misrepresent sponsorship or present informational outputs as guaranteed investment results.
10. Camera, AR and XR safety
Use immersive features in a safe, clear space and follow your device manufacturer's instructions. Stay aware of people and physical hazards; virtual objects do not represent real obstacles or reliable physical measurements.
Do not use the Service while driving or operating machinery. Stop if you experience dizziness, eyestrain, nausea or discomfort. Camera use is optional on mobile; refusing relevant permissions may prevent camera features from working.
Device permissions do not replace legally required consent for unrelated collection or processing. See the Privacy Policy for the actual handling of camera and spatial data.
11. Free service and app stores
Ape Maps currently has no payments or subscriptions. If we introduce paid offerings in the future, we will disclose the applicable price and purchase terms before you decide whether to purchase; these Terms do not authorize a future charge.
Your download and use may also be subject to your device platform's applicable terms. These do not remove mandatory consumer rights.
12. Availability, changes and termination
We may maintain or update the Service, address security risks, comply with law or accommodate changes to licensed data. We do not guarantee continuous availability or perpetual availability of a specific third-party dataset.
We may restrict or suspend access for material violations, credible security or fraud risks, underage use or legal requirements. Where reasonably possible and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact support or remedy the issue. Urgent protective action may occur without prior notice.
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account through the in-app account-deletion feature, or contact support as described in the Privacy Policy. Termination does not remove mandatory rights or justify retaining personal data indefinitely.
For material changes to the Service, we will provide notices and remedies required by law. Any surviving intellectual-property or dispute provisions apply only to the extent necessary and lawful.
13. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service and third-party informational content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular investment purpose, or error-free data.
Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence where exclusion is prohibited, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing limits mandatory consumer remedies, digital-service rights or data-protection compensation rights.
Subject to those protections, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or investment losses caused by reliance on informational content to the extent such exclusions are lawful.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms for changes to the Service, legal requirements or security. We will state the effective date and provide reasonable advance notice of material changes where required. Changes requiring fresh agreement will be presented for acceptance; continued use is not a substitute where express agreement is legally required.
If you disagree with a material change, you may stop using the Service. Applicable termination and refund rights remain available. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, subject to the mandatory consumer protections below.
Any choice of law does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections in their habitual place of residence where applicable. Consumers retain access to courts and remedies available under mandatory law.
Please contact support@apemaps.com with a dispute so we can attempt to resolve it. This does not impose a mandatory waiting period, suspend legal deadlines or prevent urgent relief.
16. General and contact
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful; an unfair consumer term will not be rewritten solely to preserve an unlawful advantage. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
